Upon completion of your online National Police Check you will receive a National Police Certificate (PDF) via email. This may be for employment or volunteering purposes. About National Police checks
Police keep records about your involvement with the criminal justice system, but only certain information can be provided on a police check. From 3 February 2025 it is no longer a requirement to provide a National Police Certificate when you apply for a private security, firearms or armed guard licence. These calculations do not account for potential additional fees and charges, such as default charges, which may be incurred.
