The ferry runs all day & night is free between the 4 small inhabited islands in the cluster so lots of swimming spots & places to dine without needing a car on the island if you would prefer to keep your car on the mainland. Most island residents own boats, jet skis or kiak’s & explore the calm waterways around the islands ( healthy dugong population ) or the s running untouched beaches of Norrh Stradbroke ( 15 mins by boat ) The lifestyle is laid back, the islands abound with wildlife, international airport + all a Major city has to offer less than an hour away & the weather is wonderful.
